“Mommy, wouldn’t it be great if there was a pause button on the wall and we could push it and make the day stand still? Then we could just stay in bed and snuggle and the sun wouldn’t come up yet.”

Oh, my. Sometimes kids have the way of communicating what we're thinking. I'd totally be hitting that pause button today! Love it.
She's very wise. Although what I'm really wishing for is the fast forward button.
